When do I need a custom pool lift?
When the pool is not ground level (skimmer or overflow channel) and has a step, wall, or other obstacle that prevents the installation of standard lifts (METALU PK, METALU B-2, METALU 400, and METALU 600).
Is it necessary for a technician to visit my pool?
No. Our technical department has the necessary technology to determine, based on the pool measurements, which models are viable. This information is reflected in clear and detailed plans that allow you to check the solution and visualize how the chosen model will be integrated into the pool.
Does my custom pool lift need to be connected to electricity?
No. Each lift has a built-in battery that provides 25-30 uses per charge, without the need to be connected to the electrical grid. It is supplied with two batteries, so one can be in use while the other is charging.
Do I need to do construction work for the installation? Do I need a technician to do it?
No construction work is necessary. The installation of custom pool lifts is a simple process that involves anchoring the lift to the floor or to the exterior or top face of the pool wall. It can be carried out by any technician following our step-by-step assembly manual, with the permanent support of our technical service.
What is the maintenance required?
Maintenance is minimal. Correct use of the lift and periodic cleaning are sufficient. During periods when it is not in use, it is recommended to store it to keep it in good condition and ensure it works like the first day every season.
Is an autonomous or assisted pool lift better?
In public-use swimming pools (hotels, municipal pools, residential communities, etc.), regulations require that the user be autonomous.
In private pools, an assisted model can be chosen.
The main difference between the two is the degree of user independence:
- The assisted model requires the help of another person for the rotation of the lift.
- The autonomous model allows the user to enter and exit the water completely independently.
